Today, the Azerbaijan State Agricultural University (ADAU) held an online event dedicated to the Armed Forces Day on 26 June.
Opening the event, Rector of ADAU, Corresponding Member of ANAS, Professor Ibrahim Jafarov, said that the work carried out under the leadership of the national leader Heydar Aliyev in the field of army construction has made it possible to create an organized strong army in our country, A solid foundation for its further strengthening. The armed forces of Azerbaijan under the command of Supreme Commander Ilham Aliyev once again demonstrated their strength in the Patriotic War. The victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief and victorious Azerbaijani Army, with their historic victory, has opened a new chapter in the history of Azerbaijan. It was as a result of the high military construction that the victorious army’s tactics became a cornerstone in the study of the military history of the modern world.
While informing the public with his comments during the war, Colonel Shair Ramaldanov spoke about the strength and correct tactics of our Armed Forces, as well as modern technology in the military arsenal.
In his speech Professor Azad Bayramov, Head of the Department of Social Sciences and Multiculturalism of ADAU, said that President Ilham Aliyev’s recent award of orders and medals to the victorious army was a sign of the constant attention and concern of the State and of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.
Then the head of the Internal Control Department of ADAU, awarded the Medal for Liberation of Shusha Namig Jafarov, senior lecturer of the Department of Agrarian Economy, participant of the Patriotic War Asif Hajizade, ADAU staff member Fariz Suleymanov, awarded 4 medals in the Second Patriotic War, gave extensive presentations on their combat histories.
Students of the Faculty of Agrarian Economics Ilkin Aliyev, Deniz Huseynli and Heydarova Aydan also told about the Day of the Armed Forces.
