According to the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Azerbaijan State Agricultural University and Ege University within the framework of the "State Program on increasing international competitiveness of the higher education system in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2019-2023", approved by the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan of 16 November 2018, the Azerbaijan State Agricultural University on the basis of a dual program together with Ege University since 2020/2021 academic year conducts training in specialities “Agronomy”, “plant protection”, “agro-engineering” and “economics”.
Another group of professors from Ege University arrived at the Agricultural University to conduct training in the respective specialties.
The Rector of the University, a corresponding member of ANAS, Professor Ibrahim Jafarov informed teachers about external relations, dual diploma programmes and the modern logistics base of the University. It was noted that mutual training would make an important contribution to the future development of the country’s agriculture.
