A seminar was held for a group of students from the Faculty of Agricultural Economics, organized jointly by the Anti-Monopoly and Consumer Market Control State Service under the Ministry of Economy and Azerbaijan State Agricultural University (ADAU).
At the seminar, Elmaddin Guluyev, the head of the Standardization, Technical Regulation, and Certification Department of the State Service, gave a presentation on the topic "The Role of Quality Infrastructure in Economic Development and the Work Done in This Area." The presentation first provided information about the structure and objects of quality infrastructure, highlighting the relevant normative legal framework and legislative requirements in the field.
Additionally, the ongoing "State Program for Harmonizing the National Standardization System with International Requirements for 2023-2025" was discussed, focusing on its role in improving the national quality infrastructure. Information was provided about the national technical regulations projects prepared by the State Service within the framework of this program, and the importance of establishing a technical regulation system in the country, as well as its positive impacts on human life and health, was emphasized.
At the end, students' questions were answered.
