A knowledge competition on the topic "National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the History of Azerbaijan" was held among students, dedicated to the anniversary of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev, organized by the Student Trade Union Committee in collaboration with the Faculty of Agrarian Economics at the Azerbaijan State Agrarian University (ADAU).
The competition began with the National Anthem, followed by a one-minute silence in honor of the dear memory of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev. In his speech, the Dean of the Faculty, Asaf Gasimov, stated that the National Leader Heydar Aliyev, throughout his political career, worked with great determination for a strong Azerbaijan, which developed, was recognized for its national values, and took its rightful place among foreign countries and with his unwavering principles and unparalleled historical services have earned him a place among the most influential leaders in the world.
The Head of the Department of Social Sciences, Elgun Aslanov, in his speech, emphasized that Heydar Aliyev, as a unique personality, a person with strong will, and a master of politics, created great admiration. He also pointed out that the successes gained by Azerbaijan through his impeccable foreign and domestic policies are a source of pride.
The knowledge competition then began. In the competition, which involved six teams, questions covering the life and activities of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev, as well as the 44-day Victory history, were presented to the students.
According to the results of the knowledge competition, the "Khari Bulbul" team was awarded 1st place, the "Elm Ulduzlari" team was awarded 2nd place, and the "Invincible" team was awarded 3rd place.
The top three teams were awarded certificates and cash prizes.
